The wide field of view offered by the Razor HD Ranging Reticle eyepiece surpasses the 20-60x zoom, while the fixed-power design delivers unparalleled resolution. Vortex's ranging reticle provides precise target distance estimation, enabling you to call shots and make rapid MOA corrections for errant rounds. This MOA-based Razor HD reticle works best with MOA-calibrated riflescopes.

MOA measurements are highly effective for ranging, provided you know the size of the target or nearby object. Using the vertical or horizontal MOA scale, align the reticle with the known-dimension target and read the MOA span. Precise MOA measurements, ideally to the quarter-MOA, will yield maximum ranging accuracy. The inner crosshair lines can serve as a reference to help estimate partial MOAs. Steady support, such as a high-quality tripod, is essential for accurate measurements.

Once you have the MOA reading, apply the ranging formula to calculate the distance. For quicker computations, a shooter may substitute 100 for the formula's 95.5 factor, though this will result in a 5% overestimation of the yardage.

Paired with the Razor HD 85mm spotting scope, this reticle seamlessly integrates ranging, shot-calling, and spotter-shooter communication - essentially putting a ruler in your spotter's hands.

This model's MOA configuration aligns with the reticle subtensions and turret graduations of compatible riflescopes.

This eyepiece is specifically designed for the 85mm Razor HD spotting scope and is not compatible with the 65mm and 50mm Razor HD models.
