Born into the bloodline of our popular Diamondback family, the Diamondback 20-60x80 Angled Spotting Scope delivers outstanding performance—clearly a superb choice when you need a heavyweight performer in a light, compact package. Equipped with XR fully multi-coated lenses and a retractable, built-in sunshade, this spotter guarantees a bright image throughout the magnification range and a clear view, while the rugged construction stands up to rough use in the field.

For the steadiest views, mount the Diamondback on a sturdy tripod or car window mount. The built-in tripod mount easily attaches to most tripods and quick-release plates, and the tripod foot connects to any tripod or car window mount that uses 1/4 x 20 screw threads. The tripod mount collar allows you to rotate the spotting scope body for greater viewing flexibility when mounting on a tripod or car window mount.

Versatile zoom magnification enables you to view a wide field of view at a lower power and zoom in on details at a higher power. Change the magnification by turning the magnification adjustment ring clockwise to increase, or counter-clockwise to decrease. After changing the magnification, some refocusing is usually required, so turn the focus dial to adjust the fine focus, ensuring fatigue-free viewing.

The adjustable eyecup twists up and down so that you can observe the full field of view, even if you wear eyeglasses. Twist the eyecup down to view with glasses, or up to view without them. Block out stray light by extending the sunshade on the objective end of the spotting scope, which also shields the objective lens from mechanical damage and guards against soiling by fingerprints and precipitation.
