Delrin Shims for Vortex, Burris, Hex, Sightmark, Leica, and Noblex Red Dot Optics

The Optic Shim is designed to fit between the red dot and the mounting plate. All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners, and this optic shim is manufactured by ADE as a mounting accessory for the mentioned optics.

Depending on the handgun, some firearms (such as the 1911) may require this 1-degree shim to provide an extended range of elevation adjustment. If you encounter any resistance from the mechanism while zeroing the elevation, please fit the shim between the sight and the mount, with the thickest part at the rear.

Do not return your "defective" red dot if the illuminated dot cannot be adjusted high enough to zero. This optic shim resolves the problem by raising the red dot higher, allowing you to achieve the desired zero.

The Optic Shim is compatible with the following optics: Vortex Venom & Viper, Burris Fastfire II and III, Docter Red Dot Sight, Insight, Eotech MRDS, Sightmark minishot, and Meopta. All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners, and this optic shim is manufactured by ADE as a mounting accessory for the mentioned optics.

Additionally, the Optic Shim is also compatible with the following ADE Advanced Optics models: RD3-006, RD3-009, RD3-011, RD3-012, RD3-013, and RD3-015. The center two screw holes may be 1 or 2mm off for some red dots, in which case you can simply trim the hole to a larger size. However, the Optic Shim does not fit Trijicon RMR, Shield, Sig Romeo, or Holosun red dots.

The purpose of the Optic Shim is to address a common issue faced by users when zeroing their red dot sights. Some users have found that after turning the elevation screw all the way, the illuminated dot is still too high, and they are unable to adjust it low enough to achieve the desired zero. Instead of returning the "defective" red dot, this shim will raise the optic, allowing the user to move the illuminated dot to the correct location for zeroing.

The Optic Shim has a tolerance of +/- 0.005 and a taper of 1.0 degree.
