From the manufacturer, the Diamondback HD 2000 Laser Rangefinder (LRF-DB2000) is designed for hunters who need to range big game at 1,000 yards and beyond. It features a maximum range of 2,000 yards and 1,400 yards on game, with 7x magnification and an HD optical system to help you see farther and stay pinpointed on your quarry.
The Diamondback HD 2000 offers two range display modes: HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) and LOS (Line of Sight). The HCD mode is intended for most rifle and archery shooting conditions, providing a corrected yardage number for shot angle, while the LOS mode is designed for rifle shooters using slope-correcting ballistic drop data cards or solvers, particularly for distances beyond 500 yards and with slopes greater than 15 degrees.
The rangefinder also features a Scan Feature, which allows you to continuously measure as you pan back and forth across target objects. The red OLED display stays clear in low light, and the Diamondback HD 2000 is tripod adaptable to maximize its long-range capabilities.
