The Impact 1000 Laser Rangefinder (LRF101) is the perfect choice for bowhunters and range-day lovers who need an intuitive platform with angle compensation. It can range targets down to five yards out, with the ability to stretch out to 1,000 yards if necessary.

The Impact 1000's HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) range display is the primary mode, intended for use in most rifle and archery shooting conditions. The yardage number displayed is the critical horizontal component distance, which requires no extra user input.

The LOS (Line of Sight) mode is intended for rifle shooters who are using slope-correcting ballistic drop data cards, ballistic cell phone applications, or other ballistic programs, and who are shooting at distances beyond 500 yards with slopes greater than 15 degrees. In this mode, the range number displayed is the actual line of sight range with no ballistic correction for slope.

The Scan feature can be used to range moving targets or help range smaller targets on uniform backgrounds in either HCD or LOS modes. Once powered up, press and hold the Measure button and scan the laser back and forth, watching for changes in the yardage number as the crosshairs move across the target object.

The Impact 1000 features an intuitive diopter located on the eyepiece to adjust for differences in a user's eyes, and 6x magnification to bring targets in for a closer look and more accurate ranging. Fully multi-coated optics enhance light transmission in low light settings, and the waterproof and shockproof performance keep you in the hunt no matter what the conditions.
