The HS407K X2 is an open reflex optical sight designed for subcompact pistol applications. This pistol sight improves on the previous version by adding Lock Mode, which was first introduced in Holosun's 2018 LEM pistol optic models. When activated, Lock Mode locks the buttons, preventing inadvertent setting changes.

Additional features of the HS407K X2 include Holosun's Red Super LED with up to 50,000-hour battery life, a crisp 6MOA dot, and Shake Awake technology. The durable housing is made from 7075 Aluminum, uses Holosun's K footprint, and houses the 1632 battery in a side-mounted tray for easy replacement when needed. The HS407K X2 handgun sight is a direct fit for the P365X/XL, and requires an adapter plate for slides with a four-boss interface.

Holosun's reflex sights are manufactured using optical-quality glass lenses with multilayer coatings applied to facilitate maximum light transmission and wear resistance while reducing glare and facilitating reduced power requirements. The HS407K X2 features a 6 MOA dot reticle, with a light wavelength of 650nm and 1x magnification. It is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief and uses a CR1620 battery with a life of up to 50,000 hours. The sight offers 10 daylight and 2 night vision brightness settings, a window size of 0.58x0.77 inches, and an adjustment per click of 1.5 MOA, with a windage and elevation travel range of ±30 MOA.

Holosun's Shake Awake technology extends battery life by deactivating the optic's LED while not in use. The settings range from 10 minutes to 12 hours, depending on the model, and can be deactivated altogether if preferred. The slightest touch of the optic instantly reactivates the LED, ensuring the Holosun reflex sight for pistol is ready when needed.
