From the manufacturer, the new Spitfire HD Gen II models are leaner and feature a redesigned HD optical system, providing a significantly smaller and lighter solution. These models allow you to choose your ideal mounting height while cutting inches and ounces off the original platform. They now feature night vision compatibility, making them a user's dream come true.

The BDC-4 reticle of the Spitfire HD Gen II is built for providing both rapid transitions and holdovers out to 650 yards. It offers a 1 MOA center dot, an 18.85 MOA open circle, and 5 MPH wind increments. To adjust the illumination, simply press the up (+) or down (-) button to turn it on, and press and hold the same buttons for three seconds to turn it off. The sight offers 12 brightness settings, with the lowest two being ultra-low for use with night-vision equipment.

The reticle focus can be adjusted by starting with the fast-focus eyepiece all the way in, and then rotating it out counter-clockwise slightly until the reticle is in sharp focus. The Spitfire HD Gen II features dial adjustments and a reticle scaled in Minute of Angle (MOA), with each click moving the point of impact roughly 1" at 100 yards and 1/4" at 25 yards.

Mounting the Spitfire HD Gen II is a straightforward process. Loosen the base crossbolts, attach the sight to the rail/base with the illumination dials facing left, and ensure the recoil lugs are solidly seated in the base groove. Torque the base screws to 20-22 in-lbs. For the 5x models, you can also mount a Micro Red Dot Sight (MRDS) by removing the MRDS cover plate and attaching the MRDS to the platform.
