ADE's Extra Elevation Shims for Doctors, Meopta, MAKdot 1x25, Vortex Venom/Viper, Primary Arms SLX RS-10, ADE RD3 Red Dot Sights

This optic shim is a mounting accessory manufactured by ADE, designed to fit between the red dot sight and the mounting plate. All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners. Depending on the handgun, some firearms (such as the 1911) may require this 1-degree shim to provide an extra range of elevation adjustment across a wide variety of firearms.

Should you experience any resistance from the mechanism while zeroing the elevation, please fit the shim between the sight and the mount, with the thickest part positioned at the rear. The shim is compatible with the following optics: Burris Fastfire II and III, Docter Red Dot Sight, and Insight MRDS.

Additionally, the shim is also compatible with the following Ade Advanced Optics models: RD3-006, RD3-009, RD3-011, RD3-012, RD3-013, and RD3-015. However, it is important to note that the center two screw holes may be slightly offset (1-2 mm) for some red dot sights. In such cases, simply trim the holes to a larger size to accommodate the proper fit.

The shim does not fit Trijicon RMR, Shield, Sig Romeo, or Holosun red dot sights.

The purpose of this shim is to address a common issue that some users encounter while zeroing their red dot sights. During the zeroing process, if the elevation screw has been turned all the way to the end and the illuminated dot is still too high, the user is unable to adjust the dot low enough to achieve proper zeroing. Instead of returning the "defective" red dot, this shim can be used to raise the optic, allowing the user to move the illuminated dot to the desired zeroing location.

The shim has a tolerance of +/- 0.005 and a taper of 1.0 degree, ensuring a precise fit and adjustment.
