Ade Advanced Optics 6moa Green Dot Sight for Handgun Compatible with Doctor/Venom/Fastfire Red Dot Footprint

The ADE RD3-012G red dot sight features a 6 MOA dot and comes with a protected cover, adjustment wrench, adjustment dialing plate, user manual, and Picatinny mounting plate. Additional mounting plates for handguns are sold separately.

The dimensions of the sight are 1.75" length x 1.25" width x 1.15" height, and it is shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof for up to 30 minutes in 4 feet of water.

This model is designed to fit the slide/footprint of plates made for the Vortex Venom, Burris Fastfire, Meopta, Docter, Insight, and Eotech MRDS optics. Any plate made for those brands will also fit this sight. ADE also offers the RD3-011, which has the same footprint as the Trijicon RMR mounting plate.

The RD3-012G is the green dot model, with a red dot version also available (RD3-012). The sight has multiple brightness levels and two adjustment buttons - one to increase brightness and one to decrease it. Pressing and holding the down button for 3 seconds will power the dot off, and it will return to the last used brightness level when powered back on.

This red dot sight is compatible with the Glock MOS system, including Gen4 models 17, 19, 34, 40, 41, and 35. However, it does not fit standard Glock models or those with an aftermarket slide. If using an aftermarket Glock slide, the user should contact the slide manufacturer to determine the exact optic cut and confirm which red dot sight will be compatible.

For handguns that are not optics-ready, the user will need to purchase an aftermarket optic plate specifically made for that particular pistol in order to replace the rear sight.

The ADE RD3-012G green dot sight is not compatible with optic plates, slides, or cuts designed for the Trijicon RMR, Shield, or Holosun 407 footprints. It is only compatible with the footprint made for the Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire type of red dot sights.

Importantly, this red dot sight features a top-loading battery system, meaning the user does not need to remove the sight to change the battery, which would require re-sighting the optic and wasting ammunition.
