PRODUCT DESCRIPTION DIMENSION: Arken Optics provides recommendations for the appropriate ring height based on various rifle platforms, such as Rem 700 footprints, Ruger RPR, Ruger American, Savage 110, Tikka, Sako, and the AR Platform.

For the new EP5 with the 56mm objective, Arken Optics recommends medium rings (1.26") with bull barrels and 20 MOA rails for Rem 700 and clones. This will be the case for most platforms out there, except for anything with AR-style shrouds, where a scope rings height calculator should be used.

Arken's Halo Series billet precision scope rings are CNC machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, with ZERO tolerances for errors in any conditions. These rings are machined in pairs for ultimate accuracy and consistency. Torx-style socket screws, along with enhanced recoil lugs, result in amazing stability and secure mounting, with a hex wrench included.

Arken Optics recommends a maximum torque setting of 18 in/lb for ring screws and 30 in/lbs for base screws. The optic manufacturer's specification shall always supersede Arken's Halo Rings specification, unless higher.

The Halo scope rings are available in 30mm or 34mm diameter and only work with Picatinny spec mounts, not Weaver mounts. They are serialized, vibratory tumbled, hand-bead blasted, and finished off with a Type III hard coat anodize for added protection against scratches and blemishing.
